"The detection result of this product is only for clinical reference, and it should not be used as the only evidence for clinical diagnosis and treatment. The clinical management of patients should be considered in combination with their symptoms/signs, history, other laboratory tests and treatment responses. The detection results should not be directly used as the evidence for clinical diagnosis, and are only for the reference of clinicians. 2. The detection result can be affected by operations, including specimen collection, storage and transportation. False negative result may occur if there is any mistakes in the operation. Cross contamination during specimen treatment may lead to false positive result. 3. The detected target sequences of this products are the conservative region of 2019-nCoV's ORF1ab gene and N gene. However, target sequence variations may lead to false negative result."

Aside from a test not testing for a virus that has never been isolated and therefore is not defined as a virus, we have some words to learn. I think it may help.

Asymptomatic simply means hypochondriac. As in, we are told we have something, show no signs, and therefore suffer from hypochondria if we believe it. Both words are rooted under the same means. Read more below.

Asymptomatic (adj.)

"without symptoms," 1856, from a- "not, without" + symptomatic.

Latin symptomaticus, from symptomat-, stem of symptoma. symptom- General sense of "indicative (of)"

Indicative

Latin indicare "to point out, show" (see indication)

Indication

from in- "into, in, on, upon" (from PIE root *en "in") + dicare "proclaim" (from PIE root *deik- "to show," also "pronounce solemnly," chondro-PIE root meaning "to grind"

Hypochondric

from hypo- "under" (see hypo-) + khondros "cartilage" (in this case, of the false ribs)

Kary Mullis invented the PCR. He said it is not to locate but create and multiply RNA for research purposes.
